Ikigaicha Ceremonial Grade Matcha made of 100% Okumidori single cultivar is delicious to enjoy as a koicha (thick matcha) or usucha (thin matcha). The tea is farmed in the mountainous region of Yame prefecture. It is shaded for 28 days using traditional honzu rice-straw shading, and slowly stone grinded to keep the authentic goodness of this delicious matcha. The resulting brew has a vibrantly green color, delicately sweet taste of stone fruits with underlying savory noted of green pea and asparagus. The finish is very smooth and satisfying.
Sift 2 grams of matcha into matcha bowl. Add 50-60ml of water at 85C. Whisk vigorously to create a smooth foam. Enjoy!
